CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

For over 50 years, Workshops, Inc. has been providing vocational training and work experience, helping program participants succeed in the workplace. Workshops, Inc., offers several certificates of training and achievement which can be earned by successful participants.

The most important recognition of achievement that can be earned is the Certificate of Employee Excellence. People who earn this have demonstrated the maturity and personal qualities necessary for lasting employment. Depending on each individual's experience of disability and other personal factors, some people who earn the Certificate of Employee Excellence will be qualified for hire and on-the-job training by an area employer. Some may continue to receive employment services at Workshops, Inc. In either case, the participant who earns and maintains the Certificate of Employee Excellence---or any of the other skill certificates offered---can be proud of their status as a mature and successful adult, able to contribute to their own needs and the needs of the community.
